Each year the AAHRC awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who show leadership, service, and a commitment to justice in their communities. Who can apply
Seniors attending high school in Clarke, Madison, Oconee, Oglethorpe county.

What you’ll need
- A current photo of yourself
- Your GPA and an official transcript from your guidance counselor
- Two recommenders (not relatives, not AAHRC members) with their email addresses
- A 400–500 word original essay
- Your school activities, honors, community service, and work history
- Household size and income, if you want need-based consideration
